The first show by the band in this city since March 2018 for the Teenage Cancer Trust concert series.

The venue is located in the city centre on the Greenwich Peninsula next to the River Thames and housed inside the old Millennium Dome complex..

It was opened in June 2007.

The first ever playing of the full 'Hysteria' album in England.

London was played five times on the original 'Hysteria' tours of 1987(x3) and 1988(x2). More than any other on the tour.

Joe is the only band member to have played the main O2 Arena with Mott The Hoople in November 2013 when he sang during 'All The Young Dudes'. Vivian played the 2,800 capacity 'indigo at The O2' venue with Thin Lizzy in January 2011 which is also inside the dome building.

'Run Riot', 'Excitable' and 'Love And Affection' were all played for the first time in London. 'Wasted' was played as Song #13.

This show was filmed and released in May 2020 as the 'Hysteria At The O2' concert film as part of the 'London To Vegas' box set.
