Def Leppard and Bryan Adams appeared live on The Today Show on this day in 2005 and footage/photos are available.
Both acts appeared on the NBC show as part of their summer concert series to help promote the 2005 Rock 'n' Roll Double Header tour of baseball stadiums.
This was the band's first time on the show and first US network TV appearance since May 1996.
The 2CD greatest hits album Rock Of Ages: The Definitive Collection had been released on 17th May 2005.
The recent single No Matter What was performed along with 'PSSOM'.
Bryan Adams and his band also played two songs (Cuts Like A Knife, This Side Of Paradise) on the outdoor 'Toyota Concert Series' stage.
Two stages were set up on opposite sides of the Plaza at Rockefeller Center facing each other. Def Leppad played first (PSSOM) followed by Bryan's two songs and Lep ending with 'No Matter What'.
Bryan promoted his latest album 'Room Service' with his current single 'This Side Of Paradise'.
Joe and Bryan were interviewed by host Katie Couric. Fellow host Al Roker later talked to Joe and Phil during the three hour broadcast (7-10am).
