The venue is located in the North of the city centre by the coast and the Harbor Bridge.
It is also not far from the Texas State Aquairium where the band played an outdoor show in September 1999 on the Euphoria tour.
It was opened in 1967 as the Bayfront Plaza and then renamed in 2004 as the American Bank center.
The venue was renovated in 2002, 2005.
The first indoor show in this city since November 1981 with Blackfoot. The 2003 and 1999 shows were both played outdoors.
This concert was rescheduled from 5th February after Joe Elliott's vocal problems.
