It was opened in June 1972 as Pine Knob Music Theatre.
Since 2001 it has been known as DTE Energy Music Theatre.
The 2016 'And There Will Be A Next Time...Live From Detroit' concert film was recorded at this venue.
'High 'N' Dry' was played again in place of 'Let It Go' for this Saturday Night show.
