Munich, Germany - Fan Reviews
Fan Review - By Denis
After almost 24 hour trip I am back from Munich show. Over 30 Slovenian Leppard fans started with a bus at 10 a.m. yesterday from Ljubljana and returned home at about 6.a.m. today, so it was quite tiresome but also a lot of fun. I met many other Slovenian Lep fans. We arrived to Munich late in the afternoon and parked 2 steps behind Lep's bus!
After a short visit of city centre we went to concert, where at 20.30 Skid Row were already playing. The Zenith Hall is a former industrial building and the outside is not very clean or nice, but the inside of it is a bit better. It can hold over 5000 people, but yesterday there was a curtain at about the half of it to make it look smaller, and there were around 2000 people I would say, I sure hoped it would be more.
The concert started as usual on European tour, with Disintegrate playing and then band started with Action. They were really giving everything, but the sound mix somehow let them down. It was very loud and noisy, but I could hardly hear Joe or Phil's solos. Anyway the parts that were hard to hear one knows already from records, so it was time to sing and rock to the music. The German crowd was quite good, but maybe us who have travelled so far to this gig wanted to invest a little more reactions than the rest.
Anyway, the well known songs in the beginning like Make Love or Women were received great, with loud singing and raised hands from crowd. The new song Long Long Way To Go had a rather quiet response, and that's a pity. It was much better for rocker Four Letter word. As the show went on also sound became a bit better, and Rocket was well rocking.
As others noticed on other shows, Sav is always smiling, Vivian a little less, Phil full of energy and Joe was making a lot of gestures like shooting a bow and had some problems with high notes but this was not a problem. Rick got biggest applause before Rock of Ages. Rocket was followed by biggest hits and they were all well received, and it ended with loud singing to Let's Get Rocked. Crowd wanted more, but this was it.
All in all a very good show, too bad that the sound was not better.

Everything yesterday was just fantastic. My friend saw Lepps for the first time, and he was just blown away, by the fact how good this band is live! For now just few words...show was 1:45 minutes long, band didn't play Now, but they played Four Letter Word and LLWTG from X album and attendance was about 2.500 people.

The show rocked, u could feel the energy pouring from them and the happy faces seeing like 2500 ppl jumping through the entire set. Big setlist changes to other German tour shows are that they played Long Long Way To Go and Four Letter Word, but BIG surprise, NO Now, so I think this is the first time.
The show was long 105 mins and they started at 21.20 before them was Ricky Warwick who started even before 8 as it was planed then Skid Row kick some ass with playing Wasted intros at the end, that was cool to hear.
