West Valley City is 10.8 miles to the South West of Salt Lake City and is also home to the USANA Amphitheatre where the band would go on to play most of their shows in this area.

It was opened in September 1997 as E Center.

Since 2010 it has been called Maverik Center.

The band were reportedly interviewed on Utah Rock Station KBER 101 before the show.
