- Location / Leeds, England
- Venue / Temple Newsam House
- Event / Golden Jubilee Concert
The first show by the band in this city since April 1988 on the Hysteria tour.
The first time at this venue.
The venue is located 5/4 miles to the South East of Leeds city centre.
The house and park were opened over 300 years ago.
A free show during HM the Queen's Jubilee tour of Britain celebrating 50 years on the throne.
Almost 40,000 people attended. Joe was featured on the BBC 6 O'Clock News in a short backstage interview before the band went on.
The band played a short setlist with only three songs played.
They were due to close with 'PSSOM' but had to cut the set short to get backstage and meet the Queen alongside the other performers.
Yorkshire local news "Look North" showed part of the concert including Lep playing 'Animal'.
The band mimed to playback with Joe singing live in a similar way to previous TOTP's appearances on UK TV.
