The venue is located 2.1 miles to the North east of the city centre and within the Oregon State Fair and Exposition Center.
It was opened in 1987 and expanded in 1991.
The fair has been running since 1858.
A local law prevented the band from playing at full volume.
Joe vowed they would never play here again.
The band offered fans a refund but only a few hundred took up the offer - about 7 to 800 out of the sell out crowd of 8,000.
The band later used 'Women' from this show as one of the free downloads on the official site in December 2000.
A shorter setlist without 'Paper Sun'. 'Gods Of War' and 'Excitable'.
