  • Location / Shakopee, MN, USA
  • Venue / Canterbury Park
  • Event / KDWB Last Chance Summer Dance

The first show by the band in this city.

The first time at this venue and event.

The venue is located 2.8 miles to the South East of the city centre and is usually used as a horse racing track.

It was opened in June 1985.

It has hosted major concerts since at least August 1997.

A radio sponsored event organised by 101.3 KDWB.

The band played for only 45 minutes due to the 10pm curfew.

Many songs from those shown below were cut out but 'PSSOM' was played from the second half of the usual setlist.

This was an all day radio sponsored event. Def Leppard played in the evening and were supported by Fastball, an alternative rock band from Austin, TX.

Reportedly only 5,000 people stayed for this night time show.

A day time event on the same stage was headlined by Mariah Carey and also featured pop acts Monica, 98 Degrees, Christina Aguilera, K-Ci & JoJo, Shaggy, Tyrese and Naughty by Nature.

Mariah Carey and 98 Degress filmed their 'Thank God I Found You' promo video at this show.
