- Location / Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
- Venue / Metropolitan
The first show by the band in this city and country.
The first time at this venue.
The venue is located in theBarra da Tijuca neighbourhood in the west of Rio and within the Parque Shopping centre.
It was opened in September 1994 at the Metropolitan until 2000 and then again from 2015 to 2017.
From 2000 to 2003 it was called ATL Hall, Claro Hall from 2003 to 2007 and also Citibank Hall from 2007 to 2017 before being changed to KM de Vantagens Hall.
The dates for this part of the tour were changed from the originally announced ones.
This was originally due to be the last show in Brazil on the 24th and the Sao Paulo shows on 22nd/23rd.
A decent audience recording exists (audio/video). The video does not include 'Rock! Rock!', 'Love Bites', 'Let's Get Rocked' or 'Rock Of Ages'.
As with previous shows on the tour Joe played a snippet of a Nirvana song with Phil then playing a bit of flamenco style guitar.
Joe also added in part of The Police's 'Every Breath You Take' at the end of 'Hysteria' and also added lines from James Brown and The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown in other songs.
