- Location / Montreal, QC, Canada
- Venue / Centre Molson (Theatre)
The first show by the band in this city since August 1992 on the Adrenalize tour.
The first time as this venue.
The venue is located in the centre of the city.
It was opened in March 1996 and is now known as Bell Centre.
The band played the Theatre setup which reduced the capacity to between 5 to 9,000 fans.
A high quality soundboard recording of the show exists, one of the best available.
It may even be the original DAT recording that two tracks ('AHAR' and 'Slang') were taken from for the 'Breathe A Sigh' single B sides.
In 2019 the CD/Vinyl 'Collection Volume 2' box set included 'Bringin' On the Heartbreak', 'Switch 625', 'Miss You In A Heartbeat', 'Work It Out' and 'Deliver Me' recorded at this show.
A decent quality audience filmed video also exists.
'Miss You In A Heartbeat' was added to the setlist and sung by Phil. This version was used as a free mp3 download on the official site in June 2001.
Joe did his joke version of a Bob Dylan song ('Knockin' On Heaven's Door') before 'MYIAH'. This show was listed as being on the 13th in the 1996 tour programme but actually took place on the 15th..
