- Location / Vienna, Austria
- Venue / Ernst-Happel-Stadion / Ernst Happel Stadium
- Event / Rock In Wien (Rock In Vienna)
The first show by the band in this city and country.
The first time at this venue and festival headlined by INXS.
The venue is located in the city centre and next to the Danube River.
It was opened in July 1931 as the Praterstadion until 1992 when it was renamed as Ernst-Happel-Stadion.
This festival was held from 1991 to 1995. Since 2002 a new festival with the same name has been held in the city.
A shorter setlist for this early evening festival performance where INXS were the headline band.
The bill also featured Robert Plant who had performed with the band earlier in the same month in Denmark and Hothouse Flowers who played on three acoustic B-Sides in 1992 as the 'Acoustic Hippies From Hell'.
Clips from the show (Tear It Down) and a short interview with Phil Collen were shown on 3sat TV as part of a special called 'X Large - Rock In Vienna'.
This show was previously incorrectly listed as the "Donau Insel Fest" (this actually took place elsewhere from 25-27th June). It had been listed as that on the initial European tour schedule released by the band on MTV in Jaunary 1993.
A separate full audience filmed video also exists from this show of decent quality filmed from the standing area in front of the stage.
