- Location / Lubbock, TX, USA
- Venue / Lubbock Municipal Coliseum
- Event / An Evening With Def Leppard
The first show by the band in this city since May 1983 on the Pyromania tour.
The third time at this arena.
The venue was located to the North West of the city centre within the grounds of the Tex Tech University and close to the Dab Law at Rip Griffin Park and Jones AT&T stadiums.
It was opened in 1956 and was originally called the City Bank Coliseum.
The venue closed in April 2018 and was demolished in April and May of 2019.
The Rolling Stones cover was only played up to the end of the first chorus. Joe sang the first few lines of 'Tonight' during Sav's spot on the medley. The audience video/audio recording starts during 'Too Late For Love' and ends during the 'Black Betty' intro before 'Armageddon It'.
Joe acknowledged during the acoustic section that Lubbock is the birth town of Buddy Holly. He sang a short snippet of 'Oh Boy!'.
A decent audience recorded video is available from this show.
