The first show by the band in this city since October 1987 on the Hysteria tour.

The fourth time at this venue.

The venue is located near the Nassau Community College in the Hempstead area of Long Island. And close to a housing estate with a name Joe Elliott would approve of called 'Mott Section'.

It was opened in February 1972.

The venue was expanded in 1976/1983 and 2017.

It was renovated from 2015 to 2017 and then opened initially as 'The New Coliseum Presented By NYCB' and officially opened by Billy Joel on 5th April 2017.

The name has since been updated to 'NYCB Live, Home of The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum'.

The second In the Round show in this city/venue.

Footage was shot at this concert for a Japanese TV show including footage of the band arriving at the venue, backstage and at soundcheck. Around two minutes each of 'Tear It Down', 'Women' and 'Too Late For Love' were also featured.

The full length soundboard quality audio versions were also included on the 'Rock Till You Drop' bootleg that featured all of the 11th September 1983 Los Angeles show. A show that has since been released on the 'Pyromania Deluxe Edition'.

Rick Savage, Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell filmed their interview sections for the 'Visualize' home video at the Michelangelo Hotel in New York on the 25th. The band also played a charity football match against Deep Purple whilst in this city.
