The venue was located in the city centre and close to Darling Harbour and not far from the newer ICC Sydney Theatre played by the band on 2018.
It was opened in May 1983 as Sydney Entertainment Centre.
From 2014 to 2015 it was named as Qantas Credit Union Arena.
The venue closed for good in December 2015 not long after the band's final show here.
It was demolished in January 2016.
