The venue is located in the city centre with in Stampede Park and next to the Stampede Corral Arena.
It was opened in October 1983.
It was originally known as the Olympic Saddledome until 1995 when it became the Canadian Airlines Saddledome and was then named Pengrowth Saddledome from 2000 to 2010.
It is now known as the Scotiabank Saddledome.
The band had been due to play here on 2nd November 2009 before that tour leg was cancelled.
