It was opened in August 1973 as Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.
Since 2014 it has been named as Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.
A schedule d show here with Ozzy Osbourne in August 1981 is believed to have been cancelled.
In Joe's on stage speech he mentions Sav saying they had played here before but he didn't think they had.
The start of this show was significantly delayed after the band and crew were stopped by U.S. border customs on their way back from playing in Toronto, ON, Canada the night before.
After a delay of six hours they were allowed to leave and although delayed the show was played as normal.
Joe explained what had happened to the crowd before 'Women'.
