Nashville, TN - Media Reviews
Def Leppard @ Municipal Auditorium By The Tennessean
Def Leppard and company were loved because they were raw and basic and uncomplicated.
The teens responded to those qualities without shame or self-consciousness.
They liked the slam-bang, straight-ahead, no-frills approach to rock.
The young Englishmen brought their own pyrotechnics along.
By the time they blasted the crowd with sound and effects, no one really seemed to care what songs they sang and played.
