Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott said on his weekly radio show last night that the Cybernauts are planning a digital album release in the next year.

Phil Collen first mentioned the possible re-releasing of their album (with bonus tracks) during a KLOS radio interview in November 2013. Plans to play live again were ruled out following the deaths of both Dick Decent and Trevor Bolder.

Joe now says he and drummer Woody Woodmansey are going to try to release material digitally for the first time.

The Joe Elliott Show - 8th March 2014 Quote

"I've been talking to Woody Woodmansey the drummer on that particular recording and of course on the original version of that which was from an album by David Bowie and The Spiders From Mars called Aladdin Sane. We were talking about the fact that the Cybernauts album is not available on iTunes and we're gonna go out of our way over the next year or so to try and get some bonus tracks put together and get the thing up on digital cause it's about time it was. From the Cybernauts studio CD that is our version of the Bowie classic Panic In Detroit."
