  • Location / Frankfurt / Frankfurt am Main, Germany
  • Venue / Music Hall
  • Event / 13-Day Club Tour

The first show by the band in this city since March 1988 on the Hysteria tour.

The first time at this venue.

The venue was located in the city centre.

It was opened in March 1985.

This venue was closed down in June 1994 and is now a block of flats/apartments.

A new venue has since reopened in a different location since 2010.

A Ross Halfin picture of Rick Allen from this show was one of the first ever published showing his left shoulder and no T-shirt covering it.

He had started playing the last part of these shows without one before using a towel to cover it when taking the applause alongside the rest of the band at the end.

A decent quality audience recording exists from this show of the complete performance.

A second recording is sometimes known as 'Rocked Tonight' (Hammer Records (HR-30001) features 12 songs and Vivian's guitar solo.

Strangely this version was listed as being recorded at the Amsterdam show in June when clearly Joe starts off "Tear It Down" with "Def Leppard in Frankfurt, we're gonna Tear It Down!".

12 songs highlighted below with a *.
