  • Location / Denver, CO, USA
  • Venue / McNichols Sports Arena

A second night at this venue.

The fourth time at this venue.

The second night of filming for the 'In The Round-In Your Face' concert film.

The promo videos for 'PSSOM (US Version)' and 'Armageddon It' were also shot here during the same shoot.

This second night is where most of the footage for the film was shot. The camera equipment had to be adjusted after the first night to properly capture the performance.

'Another Hit And Run' was dropped for these shows and replaced by 'Don't Shoot Shotgun'. Footage from 'Travellin' Band' is seen during the PSSOM promo video.

The soundboard recording of this show (sometimes titled as 'Stagefright') has been widely shared by fans since the early 90s. Joe thanks the camera crew for being hardly noticed during the show.

The 'In The Round-In Your Face' concert film did not feature the full show performed on the night.

It contained edited highlights of both guitar solos and the mid-section of 'Rock Of Ages' which lasted for almost 20mins in full.

The soundboard recording is an interesting listen and fun to compare to the audio released on the video. Unreleased footage exists of the whole gig with parts of 'Travellin' Band' seen in the promo videos (Sav playing Phil's guitar).

The second playing of the singles at this show had slightly different introductions with 'PSSOM's' album intro on the second version and Joe not doing the 'Nuclear War' intro for the second playing of 'Armageddon It'.

These songs were being filmed for upcoming promo videos which was the initial reason for the filming. The band decided to film the whole show instead of just making promo videos and make their first full length concert film.

It is likely this setlist was also played on night one (but not 100% confirmed). The soundcheck (included on the recording) featured a cover of 'Honky Tonk Women' and two versions of 'Run Riot'.

Audio of 'Women' was first released in early 1989 on the 'Rocket' single ahead of the VHS tape.

In August 2017 the 14 video version audio was released for the first time on CD and remastered as part of the 'Hysteria 30th Anniversary Edition' and also added to streaming/download services.
