The venue is located 1 mile to the South East of the city centre and part of the Blaisdell Center complex.

It was opened in September 1964 and renovated in 1984.

The band took part in charity football match against 98 Rock Radio on the same day as this show.

The game took place at Ward Field near Pearl Harbour and the score was 5-3 to he opposing team before a crowd of around 1,200 fans.
