How's The New Album Doing?
"Really good. Really well. It came together in a very organic way. We did like three sessions over the period of about a year. At first we thought ahh we'll just do a couple of songs. We ended up getting like 12 songs down in the first session."
"It's really cool and all the songs are doing really well. And you know we weren't afraid to borrow from ourselves but also let our influences through. You know you hear Zeppelin in there. You hear Bowie in there. Rest in peace!. You hear Queen. You hear all the stuff that we grew up listening to. So I think that's one of the strong points of the record is that we weren't afraid to just let all the stuff that ever influenced us come through."
David Bowie
"Just a massive influence. Early on in my career, and actually throughout my career and the entire band, and having met him you know a few times. I just think this is a massive loss. You know when I listen to his music now, I listen to it with different ears you know. The music is genius. He was so unique in everything he did. And then you, you know, you go that song was made in - you know way back. Major Tom it's like unbelievable how sort of ahead of his time he was."
Vivian's Health
"I do, I do. I spend a lot of time with Vivian and I travel with Vivian a lot. And the treatment that he's going through at the moment. The name of it eludes me at the moment. But it's this new treatment that he's been trying, and he's responding incredibly well to it. So I think all his last tests that came up are really positive. So we're all very happy for him."
