On This Day in Def Leppard History - 16th February, the following concerts and events took place. Including the birth of original guitarist Pete Willis in 1960 who celebrates his 56th birthday today.

The band only played one show on his birthday in Aylesbury 1980 when he turned 20.

Also 27 years ago on this day in 1989 Steve Clark played with Def Leppard for the last time in England when the band performed 'Rocket' on Top Of The Pops.

The band were due to play a show tonight in Brooklyn, NY which was last played in July 2005.

This show and all other dates in February were postponed on 1st February as a result of Joe's severe laryngitis.
