Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell was recently interviewed on Last In Line's UK tour and part one is available.
Vivian talked to Eonmusic whilst in the UK with Last In Line and the first of two parts has been posted which mostly deals with Last In Line.
He talked about Last In Line, their history, the Heavy Crown album, the 2016 tour, 2017 plans (touring/second album), band members, his guitar style, DIO and briefly about Def Leppard.
An except was published from the second part of the interview already which sees Vivian repeat his mention of the band being influenced by Soundgarden's Superunknown album in 1994 when making 'Slang'.
In this interview he has said the band's Spring 2017 tour in the USA/Canada will last for three months.
The first three festival shows were already announced on 5th December in Florida and North Carolina. The tour will presumably last from April to June with more dates to be announced.
Phil previously said it was time for the band to do more Canadian shows in places they haven't played for a while. Some of those cities could included Moncton and Halifax which have not been on the band's touring schedules for many years having been regularly played between 1983 to 2000 on the first few Canadian visits.

Eonmusic - Vivian Campbell Interview Quotes
Def Leppard's 2017 Tour Plans
"Yeah, well, it’s been a busy couple of years with Def Leppard; 2015 and 2016 have been very tour-intensive for us with the new record that came out a year ago. We’re going to slow down a bit next year; we’re only going to do three months in North America and Canada next spring, so that does leave me some time to do more Last in Line work, and I’m definitely going to be focusing on that."
Second Last In Line Album
"There will be a second album. I’ve certainly started writing for it; I’ve got ideas for it. I think in January we’ll probably go in the studio together and we’ll start jamming song ideas. I don’t know when we’re going to record it, but definitely, sometime in 2017, we will finish another Last In Line record."
Def Leppard Slang Album
"There’s more of a vibe to it; it’s more of an organic record, and I love the way it sounds. You know, I think it’s kind of hit or miss with some of the songs, but I realise why we, as a band were doing that; it was 1995 when we were recording that, it was the middle of the grunge era."
