Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott appeared on the HuffPost Live show last night for a live interview and photos/video are available.
Joe was interviewed live from their New York City studios and took questions via webcam from two fans in Michigan.
The show was hosted by Ricky Camilleri. There was no "big announcement" as such but that became obvious before the show. And that the original show advert was a reference to the already announced US tour.
One technicality though is the new album will be the band's 10th of all-original material. And if you really want to get technical - 11th counting the YEAH! covers album.
Joe talked about success, the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, the 2015 studio album, not having released many albums, not doing 15 month tours any more, rock and roll myths, which new bands he listens to, T. Rex, the stories about Grunge affecting bands like Lep, the band's recent resurgence in popularity, working with Taylor Swift, U2's Apple deal, and funny stories from the KISS tour.
