Def Leppard performed a small concert and brief clips of this were featured in the show including 'PSSOM' and 'ROA'. The full performance of 'Foolin'' was posted online by the show's website. Country singer John Rich was involved with a challenge to come up with a marketing campaign to promote the 7UP drink. As part of this he arranged the concert where Lep played. He went on to be voted the winner of this 12th season of the show.

The appearance was taped in mid November 2010 at a club in the basement of the Hudson Hotel in New York City.
