VIVIAN CAMPBELL's LAST IN LINE Cancel Second Show In March

Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell's side band Last In Line have cancelled a second show in March ahead of a possible Lep appearance.

The Jericho album is now available from all online retailers and streaming services.

The follow-up to the 2019 second album 'Last In Line II'.

Second Show Cancelled

Last In Line have cancelled a second show in March after the one in Harrison, OH.

They were due to play on 23rd March in Portage, IN at Decibels at On The Roxx but this has also now been called off.

Like the first show it had already been postponed from December 2023.

It is still listed by the venue but shown as cancelled on the Eventbrite ticket website and no longer part of the band's revamped tour schedule.

As shown below the band posted their schedule again ahead of the first 2024 date in Las Vegas, NV on 26th January.

The list now includes the new show in Tulsa, OK with Lita Ford.

Def Leppard March Appearance?

As mentioned The Blue Note Harrison venue announced the first show cancellation on their Facebook page and made mention of a possible Def Leppard show.

The band also posted a Pyromania teaser video last week which also suggested some kind of announcement.

Together with their label earMUSIC, frontman Andrew Freeman, bassist Phil Soussan (ex-Ozzy Osbourne) and former Dio comrades-in-arms Vivian Campbell (Def Leppard) and Vinny Appice (ex-Black Sabbath) announce the release of their third studio album “Jericho”, out on March 31st, 2023. To kick things off, the first track “Ghost Town” is released digitally. The accompanying music video can be watched on earMUSIC’s YouTube channel.

“The song for me describes breaking a cycle from different perspectives. On a personal level it could be family, career or life expectations, putting a person in an unwanted or unwelcome space. On a grander scale it addresses government expectations. Non-sensical, unethical ideas and laws that become the norm, while turning a blind eye to larger problems.” – Andrew Freeman

With limited face-to-face time in the studio due to the pandemic the band managed to write and record songs while still maintaining the integrity of their writing process, explains Vivian Campbell:

“With Last in Line, just as we did with Dio, we cut the basic tracks live. It's important for us to capture the energy of the syncopation of playing together in real time – much like the energy of a live show. This record represents the best of both worlds: the spirit of an energetic band performance, and the more reflective and nuanced qualities of our individual performances, too.”
