Def Leppard have today posted a short teaser video related to the Pyromania album.

The short clip appeared on YouTube and the band's social media channels a few hours ago.

Pyromania Video Teaser

A short 20 second video clip was posted earlier today featuring Pyromania artwork.

Starting out with a match being lit and eventually panning out to the full album cover.

The Pyromania40 hashtag was also used on social media posts.

Slightly curious as in just a few hours the album will be 41 years old and the last 40th anniversary is early next month for the and of the world tour in 1984.

Still Rollin', Rock 'n' Rollin'

The lyrics Still Rollin', Rock 'n' Rollin' from Rock Of Ages were included in the clip and on the video descriptions.

As well as the message - 'Sign up to get in on the action' with links to the splash page of the band's website which also has a Pyromania album background and Def Leppard Pyromania logo.

What is being teased?

Will it be related to yesterday's news of a possible live event in March which Vivian has had to cancel a Last In Line show for.

Or something to do with a release of some kind. Difficult to say without more info but there are a few possibilities.

Archive Release/Fourth Box Set

Although it's hard to say what would be included the tease might hint at an audio release related to an updated deluxe edition and or the fourth Collection box set.

There were of course no B Sides for the Pyromania singles other than High 'n' Dry and Pyromania album tracks.

Live Event/Residency?

The band previously hinted at a VIVA! Pyromania residency in Las Vegas with the proposed artwork later turning up online before they eventually returned to do the Hits Vegas greatest hits show in 2019.

Joe talked of another residency in 2023 when announcing the 'Drastic Symphonies' album on BBC Radio 2. Also hinting it could include an orchestra.

Joe and Phil also stated many times in the past year of a desire to play at least a few shows with an orchestra.

A full playing of Pyromania would see 'Comin' Under Fire' played live for the first time and 'Action! Not Words' for only the second time.

'Die Hard The Hunter' and 'Billy's Got A Gun' were already brought back in 2019 in Las Vegas having not been regularly played since 1984/1988.

Joe also specifically mentioned his desire to play 'Comin' Under Fire' live when they return to Vegas during the May 2023 'Definitely' book event in London.

20/20 Vision Video Series?

Although no promo video clips were included in the teaser the band have still to release the updated video material mentioned by Joe back in 2019 and titled '20/20 Vision'.

The tour booked to coincide with the video series was ultimately cancelled in late 2020 due to the pandemic.

The releases were believed to include upgrades of all promo videos and the VHS/DVD releases dating back to 1988's 'Historia' and potentially other unreleased material.
