DEF LEPPARD To Play New Arena In YOKOHAMA, JAPAN On THE WORLD TOUR 2023

Def Leppard and Motley Crue have just announced Japanese tour dates on The World Tour 2023 for November.

The World Tour 2023 began in Mexico City on 18th February.

The World Tour 2023 was first announced in October 2022 with initial dates scheduled in Mexico, South America, Europe and the UK before then adding shows in the USA.

The World Tour Hits Japan

Following many mentions by band members and hints by both bands and the promoters in March the dates have now been announced for the 2023 Japanese leg of The World Tour.

Both shows will take place in Yokohama.

Two shows will be played at the new K-Arena Yokohama which has still yet to open.

The bands will play on 3rd/4th November with Def Leppard closing night two.

Return To Japan

The return to Japan was first teased in March by new promoter Creativeman without giving any details of the shows and saying "coming soon".

The last visit to Japan took place in October 2018 with shows in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya on the Hysteria & More tour.

Arena Shows

These shows, like most outside North America, will not be in stadiums but in a new 20,000 seats arena.

The arena is due to be opened in late 2023 and is described as - "the largest purpose-built music venue in the world".

Unless more shows are announced it will makr the first Japanese visit with no shows in Tokyo.

New Promoter

When the dates were teased in March it seemed the band were using the new promoters Creativeman only.

But now the dates are announced UDO Artists Inc are also still promoting the tour having done so for every Japanese visit dating back to January 1984.

Creativeman also promote the Loud Park festival which Vivian played with Last In Line.
