DEF LEPPARD's DRASTIC SYMPHONIES Album Goes Top Ten In Switzerland

Def Leppard's new Drastic Symphonies album recorded with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra has entered more charts around the world.

The new album 'Drastic Symphonies' was released on Friday 19th May.

The album features 16 classic Def Leppard songs reworked and reimagined with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London.

The first single 'Animal' was released to digital and streaming services on the same day as the announcement followed by both 'Hysteria' on 5th May and 'When Love & Hate Collide' on 17th May.

Worldwide Charts

The album has now entered more charts around the world.

Including Switzerland where once again the band have a high new entry.

'Drastic Symphonies' has entered the main Swiss Album Top 100 chart at Number 10.

This follows on from 'Diamond Star Halos' peaking at Number 4 in 2022.

The album already went Top 5 in the UK and the separate Scottish charts last week.

USA Billboard Top 200

Unfortunately the band have their lowest entry ever on the Billboard charts with an entry at 54.

Billboard revealed the new entries ahead of the delayed full chart tomorrow (due to a holiday).

This now overtakes the UK entry for 'YEAH!' at 52 as the lowest in their history in the UK or USA.

Other low entries include Australia and France.
