DEF LEPPARD's DRASTIC SYMPHONIES Album #4 In The UK/#1 On Rock Chart

Def Leppard's new Drastic Symphonies album recorded with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra has just entered the Official UK charts.
The new album 'Drastic Symphonies' was released on Friday 19th May.
The album features 16 classic Def Leppard songs reworked and reimagined with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London.
The first single 'Animal' was released to digital and streaming services on the same day as the announcement followed by both 'Hysteria' on 5th May and 'When Love & Hate Collide' on 17th May.
UK Charts
The album has just entered the Official UK charts which has been confirmed and published in the last few minutes.
'Drastic Symphonies' has entered the Main Top 100 Album Charts at Number 4.
In 2002 the 'Diamond Star Halos' album peaked at Number 5.
The last album to get close to the heights of 'Adrenalize' and 'Hysteria' (both #1) was 'Vault' which peaked at Number 3 in November 1995.
The album had been predicted to enter at Number 2 in the Mid-Week charts.
Rock & Metal Charts
The album has entered the Rock charts at Number One.
'Diamond Star Halos' peaked at Number One on this chart along with including 'Def Leppard' and 'Songs From The Sparkle Lounge'.
Other Charts
The album is Number 2 on three other charts - Downloads, Sales and Physical.
The album is also Number 2 in Scotland but did not make the Top 50 in Ireland.
