Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott hosted another edition of his weekly radio show last night on Planet Rock.

Joe once again mentioned the upcoming European tour last night on his Planet Rock radio show.
The tour starts on Thursday 6th June in Solvesborg, Sweden at the Sweden Rock festival.
Phil had said the band were rehearsing in Sheffield (in South Yorkshire) but Joe was a bit more specific in saying they had actually been in North Yorkshire. Both Joe and Phil were pictured inside the rehearsal space this week wearing two Hollywood Vampires band T-Shirts in a photo shared by the band's own Instagram account.
Phil gave another update on the Def Leppard's next studio album when talking to the Download Festival's website. He stated that the album will likely be finished off in 2020 and that they currently have around half an album's worth of songs already written.
A new exhibit at the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame building in Cleveland, Ohio was opened featuring various Def Leppard related items. These include one of Rick Allen's drum kits from the 80s, stage wear, hand written lyrics and instruments. Two of these are guitars played by Steve Clark during the 'Hysteria tour' of 1987/1988.
Vivian spoke about the upcoming Sin City Residency in Las Vegas and said the band were looking forward to it.
This week marked 14 years since the band began their first major co-headline with Bryan Adams. The 'Rock And Roll Double Header' tour of minor league baseball stadiums started in Portland, Oregon in June 2005.
It was also 23 years since the first show of the 1996/1997 Slang world tour which started in Bangkok, Thailand. The only time the band included 'Truth?' in the setlist before it was replaced at show number two.
Many other anniversaries of major events in the band's history were also remembered this week.

Joe's show included a song from the Who Are You tribute album with him on lead vocals. He also mentioned the tour rehearsals and said that - "I can feel it's gonna be a great summer.".

Joe spoke to a new UK rock magazine just ahead of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction in March. He said the honour had not yet sunk in and did not feel as important as their own achievements such as the 1993 Don Valley Show. The magazine features new interviews with Joe, Phil and Vivian spread over 18 pages.
Joe and Sav were pictured at a rehearsals studio (actually in North Yorkshire) with Phil also posting a few of his own photos from London and one in Sheffield standing over their Sheffield Legends plaque. The full band are in England to rehearse ahead of the Sweden Rock festival show on 6th June which starts the main 2019 world tour.
A new album update from Phil during a new interview revealed that half the songs are already written and the album should be completed sometime in 2020.

The 27th anniversary of the band's show in Bonn, Germany during the 1992 '13-Day Club Tour' played ahead of the main Adrenalize world tour. A show where the four song 'In The Clubs-In Your Face' live EP was recorded. the same four songs were also broadcast by MTV Europe. The 23rd anniversary of the first show of the Slang world tour in Bangkok. Their second visit to the country where they ended the Pyromania tour in 1984. This tour saw a much more stripped down stage design and Rick Allen playing a mostly acoustic drum kit.
Vivian talked about the return visit to Las Vegas for a second residency during a lengthy radio interview. He also mentioned how his health issues have affected his career for the better and how grateful he is to be playing with two great bands.
