DEF LEPPARD Were Shocked By Their New LAS VEGAS Residency Production

Def Leppard members Rick Allen and Phil Collen were interviewed in Las Vegas last week to promote the Sin City Residency.

Rick spoke to Rachel Smith and Sean Mcallister for Celebrity Page TV whilst in Las Vegas for the Sin City Residency.

Rick and Phil talked about the 2019 Sin City Residency, opening night, being vegans/health, backstage,1983 Las Vegas show and Rick's artwork.

Phil spoke of their shock at how good the new production was and said the band will definitely be back for another residency.

In the first interview both Rick And Phil speak together the day after the opening night in front of the stage.

In the second Rick gives a tour of the backstage area and talks about his artwork.

2019 Residency Opening Night

Phil - "We've really been putting a lot of time in for this reason. So that we could actually get this like that. And our crew and production and everything. A lot of the stuff was surprising to us. I mean the lasers and everything was shocking. It was amazing."

Bigger Production For Vegas

Rick - "That's what we figured. We figured it needed to be a real show and present the band in a completely different way that we've never done before. Some of the equipment that we use it doesn't always travel that well. So people are getting a real treat."

Phil - "Yeah I don't know how they'd get that in the truck on tour."

I hope this turns into a longer run

Phil - "It will. We're loving it so much. We like the vibe. We like being here and we dig it, it's great. So yes we'll be back."

Rick - "One of the most important things is my bed doesn't move."

Backstage

Rick - "Yeah this is the under world. This is where all the sort of more technical end of things happens."

1983 Alladin Theater Show

Rick - "I think that was back in 1983. So it's pretty ironic that we're back here. You know obviously it has a different name. But it's the same building, same history."

Artwork Exhibit

Rick - "This is something really special for me. I think a lot of Def Leppard fans haven't really seen this side of me."

Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

Rick - "It really hit me what a big deal this was and then standing up there on stage. It was like man this is really cool that we're finally getting some appreciation."
