PHIL COLLEN Performs DEF LEPPARD's Hysteria At Berklee College (Video)

Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen performed Hysteria last month at a college in Boston, MA and video footage is available.

The performance took place on 11th August at Berklee College Of Music prior to Def Leppard's show at Fenway Park which kicked off leg three of the 2018 North American tour.

The footage was posted on YouTube by guitarist Jon Finn who had guested with Phil in the city during the G3 Tour.

Phil is shown singing lead vocals and playing guitar on a version of 'Hysteria' with other members of Jon's family and the Omaze contest winners.

The winners of the Omaze contest got to have lunch with Joe and Phil, ride to the stadium in their tour bus and sing with the band backstage.

They also got to watch the soundcheck and then the show from VIP seats.

"I met Phil Collen during the G3 in Boston in March of 2018 when John Petrucci called and asked if I'd be willing to sit in on the encore. Weeks later, he called and asked if I'd help him out with an event he'd agreed to do with Omaze (a fund-raising website). Def Leppard were in Boston August 11, 2018 to play Fenway Park. Phil would take the Omaze contest winners out to lunch and an impromptu jam at Berklee in Boston. That's where I come in."
