JOE ELLIOTT Says DEF LEPPARD Have More Rarities For Reissue Series

Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott was recently interviewed and spoke about the reissue series and the 2018 world tour.

He was speaking to Classic Rock Magazine for their January 2018 issue about the newly released Down 'n' Outz live DVD/2CD. Joe is included on the front cover (along with some idiot who likes to kick women in the head...).

Joe talked about Down 'n' Outz bass players, the live DVD recording, their next studio album, songwriting, his highlights of 2017, Def Leppard's South American tour, archive releases and the 2018 world tour.

Joe says the band have found some new stuff in their archives for catalogue releases. He also was not as forthcoming about the 2018 world tour as Vivian, Phil or Rick have been by not giving away many details (which most people already know...see Tour News section).

If these are unreleased songs, they "may" include the at least six left over from the 'Euphoria' sessions. Other unreleased things 'could be' the full Don Valley show on DVD or even the 1980 Oxford show mentioned in 'Animal Instinct'.

A possible Deluxe Edition of 'Euphoria' was talked about by Joe in April 2014 with the band having acquired the rights to the songs after 15 years.

A vinyl reissue of the YEAH! album was mentioned by Joe in November 2016.

Joe had mentioned he was preparing some new Lep releases on his 28th October radio show in a likely reference to the reissues, new music and the third Down 'n' Outz album.

The reissue series started with the Record Sore Day The Def Leppard E.P. in April 2017 which included the message shown below in the press release. A vinyl box set is one of the possible releases in this series. Similar to those by Queen and Bon Jovi.
