The venue is located by the Tames River and part of the huge Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino complex and is 4.5 miles North of the centre of Uncasville.

Uncasville itself is an area within the town of Montville, CT.

It was opened in October 2001.

This show was sold out with almost 7,000 fans in attendance.

This concert was rescheduled from 13th February after Joe Elliott's vocal problems. REO Speedwagon replaced Styx on the bill.
