Def Leppard attended a U2 show in Boston, MA on 10th July and Joe Elliott has now described their Innocence + Experience tour as being spectacular.

Joe talked about the 10th July show again earlier tonight on his regular Planet Rock radio show.

Joe had briefly mentioned the show last week with Vivian also talking about it on facebook. Those comments are included again along with a photo of Joe at the show.

As U2 start their 8 show run at Madison Square Garden in New York tonight. Def Leppard continue their 2015 tour in Oshkosh, WI on the 37th anniversary of their first public live show in 1978.

You can watch the entire 10th July show in Boston, MA via this YouTube playlist in HD quality. An account that also includes the following night plus a 2014 Lep show.

UPDATE - Bono did sing a very short snippet of PSSOM during the show at the end of song #2 'The Electric Co.'. This was not heard clearly on fan brodcasts on the night and only noticed by U2 fans in the last day or two.

The Joe Elliott Show - 18th July Quotes

"Just over a week ago now we had the very good fortune of being able to go and see U2 in Boston. I really thought that they would struggle to follow The Claw. When they had the big outdoor stage thing but they've taken it indoors and they've again re written the rule books. If you get a chance, please go and see them. The show is absolutely spectacular. One of the highlights for me is this track from their latest album Songs Of Innocence."

"And before that from the album Songs Of Innocence we heard U2 who we got to see live in Boston and they were absolutely incredible, with a song called Cedarwood Road."

Vivian Campbell - 11th July facebook Quote

"We also managed to get in a day at the beach, visit the aquarium, see the July 4th fireworks from a boat on the Charles River and catch a U2 show at Boston Garden. Many thanks to the U2 band and crew for their gracious hospitality last night. The show is a game-changer in terms of it's production; spectacular and very, very highly recommended."
