Prev  |  Next
  • Location / Uniondale/Nassau/Long Island, NY, USA
  • Venue / Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum

The first show by the band in this city since August 1981 on the High 'n' Dry tour.

Another show supporting Billy Squier on his 'Emotions In Motion' tour.

The venue is located near the Nassau Community College in the Hempstead area of Long Island. And close to a housing estate with a name Joe Elliott would approve of called 'Mott Section'.

It was opened in February 1972.

The venue was expanded in 1976/1983 and 2017.

It was renovated from 2015 to 2017 and then opened initially as 'The New Coliseum Presented By NYCB' and officially opened by Billy Joel on 5th April 2017.

The name has since been updated to 'NYCB Live, Home of The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum'.

A decent audience recording exists from this show but 'Travellin' Band' (which 'may' have also been played) is not included.
