The first show by the band in this city since October 1981 on the High 'n' Dry tour.

Another show supporting Billy Squier on his 'Emotions In Motion' tour.

The second time at this venue.

The venue was located to the west of the city centre near to the new Mile High Stadium and south west of the Pepsi Center arena.

It was opened in August 1975 and its location is now the parking lot for the stadium.

It was closed in September 1999 and then demolished in January 2000.

The band would go on to play two nights here in February 1988 and tape the concert film 'In The Round-In Your Face'.

This show was incorrectly listed as being on the 13th in the 'Animal Instinct' biography and on this site but has been adjusted to the correct date.

"And a claim for $15,000 in damages by a thirty-two-year-old Denver man, Michael Townes, allegedly hit in the left eye with one of Rick Allen's drumsticks during an April 13 show at McNichols Arena. In one letter, Townes' lawyer referred to the show as the "Billy Squier/Death Leopard Concert"."
