It was opened in October 1971 and renovated in 1994 and 2016.

The venue name translates to "Blue and deep red Palace" matching the colours of Barcelona FC's kit.

The first visit to Barcelona following the incident in July 1981 when they were forced to play after headline act Rainbow.

They had initially vowed never to play in Spain again.

This show was originally listed for the 27th October before changes were made to the schedule.
