A return to a festival event played in August 1978. The band played on a bill with mainly famous pop UK acts.
The show was broadcast on local radio. The first ever live radio broadcast of a Def Leppard show. Probably for Hallam FM. A recording may exist in someones archives. The band's original drummer Tony Kenning reportedly attended this show.

Animal Instinct Biography - Quote
Sheffield. In his datebook, Joe wrote "Do not tell anyone." This was probably for a live Sheffield radio broadcast. Steve broke four guitars strings during the broadcast.
