The first and only single from the 'High 'n' Dry 1984' re-issue was released in May 1984. 'Bringin' On The Heartbreak' was a remix of the 1981 classic by Mutt Lange. It also included a remix of the original UK B-Side 'Me & My Wine'.
The single was issued as a 7" and as a promo release on 7/12". Videos were made for both songs. The album and single had been issued again to capitalise on the success of 'Pyromania' in 1983. The US 7" cover featured the Lep logo on black background above a center live pic from 1983. Below that were the song titles and a note that the "Special Remixes" were produced by Mutt Lange. The 12" was the same but had the catalogue number in white in the top center. The back sleeve promoted the first three albums with pics of them. A Mexican 12" promo had both songs on side A and band autographs etched on the B side. The cover featured similar artwork to the UK 'Too Late For Love' single with the Def Leppard logo set up as matches and being set alight.
