Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen has scheduled two new Legends Series art events for November 2021 in New Jersey.

Two new art events have been scheduled for this weekend in New Jersey.

On Saturday 20th November Rick will be at the Wentworth Gallery in Short Hills NJ.

A second event takes place on Sunday 21st November.

The latest 'Legends Series' paintings will be displayed including Tom Petty, Neil Peart, Prince, Kurt Cobain, Johnny Cash and Eddie Van Halen.

Rick revealed his new Legends Series paintings in March including those of Kurt Cobain and Eddie Van Halen, who passed away in October 2020.

Legends And Dreams Artwork Series/David Bowie

"The Legends series, you know. I started out with Steve Clark which was a good place to start seeing as, you know, he was my best friend. And then I moved on to John Lennon and Jimi Hendrix and I've just completed a David Bowie. They're kind of the more recent pieces. A lot of the other pieces. The Union Jacks, the Stars and Stripes, the Telephone boxes, girl on a swing. And there's a bunch of pieces that have been there for quite a while. And of course Wentworth they've got tons of galleries so they wanted me to put artwork in every gallery. So yeah it took me a while to get enough pieces...been on a roll."

"Ever since I was a kid and then I discovered music. So I put more of my time into music and photography. And then when my youngest daughter was born. She's around somewhere, the girl on a swing over there. She inspired me to start painting again 'cause, you know, she's just right in the moment. No rules she just goes about it and it's kind of a similar place to where I go when I play music. So it's like you know what I could apply that to painting."
