Phil Collen/KSHE 95 - April 2022 Interview Quotes - (Transcribed by dltourhistory)

The Stadium Tour/Pandemic

"Yeah no it's totally surreal, the whole thing. You know, it's like still. I mean actually I remember when we started travelling again seeing everyone masked up. And, you know, if you didn't know and someone put you thee it's like a Sci-Fi movie."

"So yeah no it's pretty exciting that this is really happening."

Motley Crue/Vince Neil Concerns/World Wide Tour

"No, I mean I talk to Nikki Sixx all the time. And we're friends and I've know Vince forever."

"So no he's gonna be part of our team. That's the way I look at this whole thing."

"We wanna take this tour to the rest of the world as well."

"There's been real interest in Europe. Australia, Japan. All over the place. South America."

"So no it's really important that everyone is part of the team and we're inspired."

"Me and Joe, actually all the guys. We're on the phone and we start reahearsing in about a week."

"So no I think that Motey Crue are gonna be part of that team. As are Poison and Joan Jett."

"So no we all stand as one. The great thing when yu go out on tour with KISS it's all about the show."

"It's not about trying to upstage anyone or do that. Yeah you can have a bit of that going on. But you live and die by the show."

"You wanna make that great. And that's a great lesson we've learned from KISS."

"And like I said we apply that. So no I can't wait until we get out there and hopefully Vince will be working out. We've got our trainer coming out and yeah it's gonna be really cool."

Playing Stadiums

"It is. It's bigger and I think we're more adapted to a bigger stage."

"You know there's soccer teams. There's a certain style of playing that the Spanish and Barcelona use where they create space. they see space and they fill it."

"And we kind of do that when we go in larger spaces. I think a huge stage, we're actually designed to do that."

"So it's really cool. Tou have a lot more space to run around. And rush back to the microphone for a backing vocal."

"So it makes it exciting actually. It makes it really fun."

"And if you've ever seen The Stones, you know, Mick Jagger's constantly moving."

"Yeah so that's an inspiration for us as well."

"So yeah we can't wait for that."
