The first full show by the band in this city. They had previously played a private show in Burbank (a suburb of Los Angeles). A show to launch the 'punkfunkrootsrock' album which was postponed from 31st July after Def Leppard rescheduled dates due to the death of Joe Elliott's father. Eight new songs were performed for the first time, nine in all from the 'punkfunkrootsrock' album.

Vivian Campbell and Lorelei Shellist both attended this show. The band played a special soundcheck show for the Grammy foundation before the main gig (see 4th Oct news link).
