DEF LEPPARD's MAKE LOVE LIKE A MAN Rebroadcast On BBC Four TOP OF THE POP's

Def Leppard's June 1992 performance of Make Love Like A Man on BBC's Top Of The Pops has been shown again with video available.

The performance was originally broadcast on Thursday 18th June 1992.

The second single from the 'Adrenalize' album was released on 15th June 1992 and this performance was an exclusive for the show before it entered the charts.

This edition was presented by regular host Mark Franklin and guest co-presenter Bob Geldof.

Bob gave them a somewhat humorous introduction of "Here's Def Leppard with Make Love Like a big girls blouse!". Vivian recalled this during one of his Radio Ulster shows in 2018.

Like the other performances on the show from this era Joe's vocal was live while the rest of the band mimed along to the studio version on playback.

BBC Four in the UK rebroadcast the original 18th June 1992 show on Friday 25th February and it can be viewed again on the BBC iPlayer (UK Only).

Th promo video was also shown during the 2nd July show following the single chart entry.

This episode will also be shown again on Friday 4th March at 8pm.
