Def Leppard will release a new official book called Definitely The Official Story Of Def Leppard in Spring 2023.

The new book is being advertised on the video screens at the current Stadium Tour shows before the show countdown sequence.

The band will finally follow up their 1987 official biography 'Animal Instinct' in Spring 2023.

Titled 'Definitely The Official Story Of Def Leppard' it is doe to be released on 7th March 2023 and will have 240 pages.

It is being released by Genesis Publications.

Only a temporary front cover is available at present.

The description suggests the format will be similar to 'Animal Instinct' which was also illustrated with some of Joe's archive.

'Animal Instinct' was released in August 1987 and told the band's story from 1977 up to the release of 'Hysteria'.

It was written by Rolling Stone magazine's David Fricke who also went on to interview the band as 'Adrenalize' came out but this is the first proper biography type book since 1987 and will follow on the story after 1987.

Note - Noticed some interesting details in the photos on the linked site. A view of some cassettes of rare music owned by Joe. That could be due for the 'Hysteria' 40th Anniversary edition in 2027.
