DEF LEPPARD To Return To BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA On THE WORLD TOUR 2023

Def Leppard and Motley Crue have just been announced to play a new show in Buenos Aires, Argentina on The World Tour 2023.

The World Tour 2023 is due to start in Mexico City in February 2023.

This first leg will now comprise 7 shows in outdoor venues.

The second leg starts in Sheffield in late May and sees them play 21 stadiums and/or festivals across UK, Ireland and Europe.

A third leg was announced earlier this month with 6 shows so far announced for a brief return to stadiums in the USA after The Stadium Tour 2022.

A new show has been added today which sees the band return to Argentina for the first time since September 2017.

Both Def Leppard and Motley Crue will be playing Parque Sarmiento in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 9th March 2023.

Tickets for the show go on sale from 11th January.

This show replaces the cancelled show in Curitiba, Brazil which had also been scheduled for 9th March.

Sav also revealed the band are back in rehearsals posting a photo on Instagram from yesterday.

Co-Headliners

Motley Crue will close this show.

They were due to close the original show on this date in Curitiba, Brazil.

Def Leppard - The World Tour 2023 New Show

The first time at this venue and first ever outdoor show in Argentina.

The venue is located 3.7 miles to the North West of the city centre of Buenos Aires within a park area.

Buenos Aires was first played in April 1997 on the Slang tour and remains the only city to be played in Argentina.

The fourth ever show in the city and country with the last date taking place in September 2017 at Estadio Luna Park.

Both April 1997 shows were also indoors at Cine Teatro Gran Rex and Dr. Jekyll Club.

The main photo above shows the band in April 1997 at a charity football match dressed in the National football team kit of Argentina.

Motley Crue last played the city in May 2011 at the Estadio Cubierto Malvinas Argentinas for two nights and had previously played here once before that in 2008.
