DEF LEPPARD To Appear On Jimmy Kimmel Live! Plus Live Stream

Def Leppard have been announced to appear on tonight's edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live! in the USA to promote the new Diamond Star Halos album.

'Diamond Star Halos' is the band's 12th studio album.

As announced on 17th March it will be released on Friday 27th May 2022.

The band will appear live on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show on ABC TV in the USA.

The show is broadcast at 11:35pm ET (4:35am UK) with actors Seth MacFarlane and Jay Ellis also appearing.

This show will mark the "real" live return for the band after a virtual performance in January and a private movie performance in the UK in March.

It will also of course mean the live debut's of 'Kick' and one or more of the other two songs already heard from 'Diamond Star Halos'.

The first US TV performances since a handful were made in the run up to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction in March 2019.

The show usually has at least two songs on the show and uploaded to their YouTube account in HD.

This time the band will be playing a live set after the show on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! YouTube channel as a Live Stream event.

If you are outside the USA and want to watch the main show live just search for ABC live streams and you'll probably find some. Not HD but good enough to watch.

This will be the band's third time on this show after 2005 and 2008, and third time on a Wednesday.

In November 2005 they played a set of 7 full songs with only 'Rock Of Ages' shown in full during the broadcast and a snippet at the end of 'Foolin''.

On the April 2008 appearance they played a six song set with only 'Nine Lives' shown in full and a minute or so of 'Let It Go' over the end credits.

The extra songs played then included the live debuts of 'C'mon C'mon' and 'Hallucinate', which was only played once more after that night.

Jimmy appeared on Letterman not long after one of those shows and was not very complimentary about Def Leppard. I forget which time but it's on YouTube somewhere.
